FALL LEAGUE
 

THE RIO SALADO SWIM CLUB has designed the Fall League to give your child a unique opportunity to continue swimming through the fall.  This league has been carefully organized to promote team unity, flexible practice schedules, and exciting swim meets that will not occupy your entire day.  Your child will be taught by experienced year-round coaches who offer professional instruction on stroke technique, starts and turns.
 

THE REGISTRATION PROCESS IS EASY! Schedule your evaluation by calling 480-897- SWIM (7946). Evaluations and registrations will be conducted throughout the month of August at EVO Swim School (NW corner of Gilbert & Guadalupe - next to the Goodwill Store). Call today to schedule your appointment!

RETURNING MEMBERS TO THE CLUB (within the past year) can sign up over the phone without an evaluation. Just call 480-897-7946 to complete the registration process.

PRACTICES WILL BE HELD at the Hamilton High Pool (South Chandler) and the McClintock High Pool (Tempe). Click HERE to see the practice schedule. Each swimmer is expected to have fins and a kickboard at each practice.  Training equipment can be purchased at the club offices when signing up for the league.
 

THERE ARE THREE DIFFERENT GROUP LEVELS…
Novice Group: for children who can swim freestyle and backstroke but have not learned the basics of breaststroke and/or butterfly (Hamilton Pool only).
Junior 1 Group: for children who can swim the basics of all four strokes, perform a freestyle flip-turn, and can swim a 100 IM without stopping or struggling. 
Junior 2 Group: for children who are proficient in all four strokes and can display an adequate level of endurance and speed. 
 

SWIM MEETS & ENTRY FEES…
There are five meets planned over the course of the league. Click  HERE to see the meet schedule. These meets are designed to last no longer than 3 hours (including warm-up time). There is a five dollar entry fee for each meet that is build into the Fall League fee.  Entries will be taken on the pool deck before the start of each meet and free programs will be distributed to the parents.  Meet are not mandatory, however, the kids are highly encouraged to attend. Swimmers are expected to have a RIO team suit and cap (if they wear a cap) at each meet. Team apparel can be purchased at the club offices when signing up for the league.

COST...
The Fall League dues include practice time, insurance, and meet fees.  Team uniforms are not included in the fee.  Each child is expected to have a team suit and cap for the meets and fins and a kick board at each practice. All apparel and training equipment can be purchased at the club office when signing up for the league.
